Paws on the Promenade - a great hit!

Wow, what an awesome event we had - turnout of 300 dogs and 464 humans!

On a budget of just R 1685 to put together the event, the Mdzananda Animal Clinic was able to raise a total of R 29 000 in profit - just amazing!

The funds raised will go towards medication and medical consumable costs of the clinic where we treat up to 700 Khayelitsha pets per month through consultation rooms, hospitalisation, theatre operations, mobile clinics, an animal ambulance and pet rehoming.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this possible.

Some special thanks to our partners Vondi's Holistic Pet Nutrition, to all the marvelous volunteers and everyone who contributed to the goody bags (Canine Zone, ROGZ, Pet Wellness Worx, AtFrits Dog Hotel, Daycare Centre & Dog Park, Pets Elite and Vondi's Holistic Pet Nutrition)

A last big thank you to Tamara Sweet and Shaun Sweet for lending us their gazebo, Styled Functions - Rentals for sponsoring the tables, Aiden Du Plessis for sponsoring water, ROAR for PAWS for microchipping, Hero in my Hood story activity books and the College of Emergency Care for making an ambulance available.

Here are some pics of the event... ENJOY
