Water for pets coming to the rescue

We are overwhelmed by the generosity people have shown during the water crisis. Various individuals, companies, organisations and initiatives have teamed up to help our township pets. Here are some of the larger donors.

Cape Town Motor Show and Orliflex donate 2000 liters 2000 litres of water was donated by the Cape Town Motor Show and Orliflex to the Mdzananda Animal Clinic. Trucks drove from PE to Cape Town to deliver this water plus 50 000 more litres of water for other charity organisations with the fuel sponsored by BP. The donation aired on SABC news last week where Marcelle du Plessis from the Mdzananda Animal Clinic was interviewed. Take a look here.

Water 4 Paws The volunteers from Water 4 Paws have been collecting water donations from all across Cape Town, Kwazulu Natal, Bloemfontein, Eastern Cape and Gauteng. Mdzananda is one of the very lucky beneficiaries. Thank you for all the wonderful hard work!

Water for Shelters and One Small act of Kindness Water for Shelters and One Small act of Kindness are two more fantastic initiatives. The volunteers and organisers of both these initiatives have donated a large amount of water to Mdzananda for the water crisis. Thank you for the generosity and support!

Upping Mdzananda's water Security Virgin Active, Proxa and Eco Tanks joined forces to sponsor two large water tanks for our clinic to catch any rainwater. Such water will be used to wash blankets and clean our facility.
