Individuals making a difference

At Mdzananda we are very blessed to have people support us. A couple of special individuals need to be mentioned this month as they went to extremes to help raise funds and goods for Mdzananda.

Jyoti secures a donation from Werksmans Attorneys Jyoti Narshi donates to Mdzananda on a monthly basis and decided to stretch her support even further. After approaching her CSI department at work and presenting our organisation to them, she was able to secure a R15 000 donation from her company to support Mdzananda.

Tracey sells clothes to raise funds In February Tracey Burke hosted yet another second hand clothing sale to raise funds for the pets of Khayelitsha. With her sale she was able to donate R9000 to Mdzananda! A big Paws Up to these supporters and all the other great supporters for making a difference!

Caring for the pets of Khayelitsha Welgemoed Primary School hosted a Care Week and Mdzananda, in partnership with Two Oceans Aquarium, was invited to speak to the children about pet care. The children loved the presentation and were eager to learn about animals. They also collected various goods for the pets of Khayelitsha to the estimated value of R16 000!
