Mommy Cat

A mommy cat was brought to Mdzananda with six healthy kittens. She, however, had a badly infected and injured left eye. The cause of the damage is unknown and was too severe for her eye to be saved. Mommy Cat's damaged eye was removed after which she was treated with pain medication and antibiotics. She was also sterilised.

While she was waiting to heal before going home, we were amazed to see what a wonderful mom she was to her kittens. Even though she was in pain and uncomfortable, she bathed them and loved them fully. Sometimes pets can be great teachers to us humans.
