As Cape Town temperatures plummeted, the Mdzananda Animal Clinic in Khayelitsha set out to help some township pets in need of shelter.

A call was put out to community members to alert us of pets that had no shelter and were spending nights outside in the rain. Many calls came in.

Thanks to a number of generous individual donors enough funds were sponsored to purchase 22 kennels to take to the pets in need. Each kennel was equipped with a blanket to ensure for warmth. Thank you to these individuals for changing these pets lives.

You can change one pet's life too by sponsoring a kennel in our #WinterKennelDrive

Cost per kennel: Small R490 | Medium R590 | Large R890

Make your donation to: Mdzananda Animal Clinic, Standard Bank, Rondebosch, Account no: 075595710, Branch code: 025009, Reference: Kennel + Your Name

You can also donate directly to the Purple Kennel Project where one kennel will cost R400.

Please contact Luckmore Fadzi (info@somewheresouth.co.za) to sponsor a Purple Kennel Project kennel. Ensure to let them know that your sponsorship needs to be allocated to the Mdzananda Animal Clinic and we will receive the kennel.
